We met Ms. Katherine Kostoff in Innsbruck in 2018.
Katherine accompanied and prepared my daughter very professionally through the 1st transition exam at the Städtische Musikschule in piano -in private lessons in addition to lessons at the Städtische Musikschule- for 1 year, weekly. My daughter felt very comfortable with Katherine, enjoyed the lessons and benefited a lot from them. Since they both spoke English, this was also a great thing in the lower school of the Gymnasium Sillgasse in Innsbruck with a focus on music/sound spaces--my daughter is now in the upper school and, among other things, speaksEnglish fluently as a result and loves to play the piano. If you ask my daughter, who is just now preparing for the 2nd Übertrittsprüfung in piano, how she perceived her time with Mrs. Kostoff, she says: "it was a nice and valuable and cool time."

The singing lessons with Kate are highly recommended! In addition to the exercises for vocal technique and voice training, Kate designs the lessons very individually, so that evenself-selected songs can be worked out. As an amateur rock/blues/pop singer, Kate has helped me to significantly improve my vocal style and tonal confidence, and it is now easier for me to refine new songs with my own vocal style.
Just try it out, it's worth it

Kate taught both of my daughters the piano. They found her lessons fun and learned very quickly, as Kate adapted her lessons to suit each child. I enjoyed listening to interaction between Kate and my daughters and also enjoyed the lovely tea and coffee I was treated to whilst I waited.
I can highly recommend Kate as a teacher.

For more than two years, our girls (6 and 10 years old) enjoyed piano lessons with Ms. Kate Kostoff. Both developed a great love for playing the piano and were motivated by her holistic teaching style to practice and improvise regularly on the piano (sometimes singing their own songs to the piano pieces). Attentive and loving, she provided her students with praise, encouragement (exceptional stickers) and corrections where needed. In addition to the piano lessons, she trained the children with valuable ear training exercises (harmonies, re-singing,..etc.) and for rhythm (clapping exercises, etc.). In short: We appreciate the pedagogical and musically competent work of Mrs. Kostoff very much and can highly recommend her. We regret that she no longer lives in Innsbruck, and our children miss the piano lessons with her very much.
